Meeting Venue

The 2022 CISE EWF PI meeting will be held at the Loew’s Hotel Philadelphia in the heart of the city of Philadelphia, with opportunities for remote attendees (and presenters!) to participate in sessions, networking, and collaborative discussions via the Whova app.

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is the sixth largest city in the United States and is rich in history, culture, and chef-driven cuisine. The Loew’s hotel is within easy walking distance to excellent restaurants and famous landmarks, including Reading Terminal Market, City Hall, and Dilworth Park. You’re also just a short car or subway ride away from historic Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell Center, the Betsy Ross House, and other historical sites, as well as the world class Philadelphia Museum of Art, the interesting and quirky Mütter Museum, and the African American Museum in Philadelphia, which was the first institution built by a major US city to house and interpret the life and work of African Americans.

Guestrooms at the Loew’s Hotel Philadelphia have been quoted for $189 per night for the CISE EWF PI Meeting and the co-located RESPECT conference. Getting to Philadelphia:

The Philadelphia International Airport, offers direct flights to a large number of cities in the U.S. Those on the east cost may find it easy to commute via Amtrak to 30th Street Station in Philadelphia. The Loew’s Hotel Philadelphia is a 20 minute drive from the airport and a 13 minute drive from the Amtrak station.
